2WellBeing is a mental wellbeing platform built around Harshita Murai, a counselling psychologist based in Pune, India. We handle personal information — including information you share in the context of your mental health — with care, discretion, and respect. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected.
1. Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to anyone who uses 2WellBeing — whether you're browsing the site, booking a session, using the self-guided tools, or simply reaching out with a question.
2. What we collect
We collect information in two ways — information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you use the site.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries and booking requests, to provide and improve the service, to send session confirmations and relevant updates, and to understand how the site is being used. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
4. Mental health information
Information shared in sessions or through the platform's self-guided tools — including journal entries, mood check-ins, and anything discussed with Harshita — is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. This information is not shared with third parties except in the limited circumstances required by law or professional safeguarding obligations (for example, where there is risk of serious harm). Harshita works in accordance with the ethical standards of the Counsellors Council of India (CRN6926326).
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your data. We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate the platform (for example, payment processing or email delivery) — these providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only use your data for the purpose we've specified. If required by law or a court order, we may be required to disclose information.
6. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Sessions are conducted over secure, encrypted connections. However, no system is completely immune to risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have concerns about a specific data matter, please contact us directly.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccurate information, to ask us to delete your data (where applicable), and to withdraw consent for how we use your data. To exercise any of these rights, please reach out to us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.
9. Children
2WellBeing is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared information with us, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the 'last updated' date and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
